Move for Melanoma 2026

This September, Canadians from coast to coast are invited to Move for Melanoma 2026, Save Your Skin Foundation’s premier fundraising event. 

Now in its 8th year, the event takes place September 26–27, 2026 and encourages participants—individuals, families, teams—to pick their own physical challenge (walk, run, cycle, or another activity) while raising funds and awareness for melanoma, non‑melanoma skin cancers, and ocular melanoma.

Why it Matters

All funds raised will directly support the Foundation’s vital programming, providing patients with informational resources, personalized guidance, emotional support, and other critical services to help them navigate their journey with strength and hope.

Across Canada, Move for Melanoma is more than just a fundraiser—it's a unified show of support and solidarity for those affected by skin cancer.

Edmonton 5K

Once again this year, we are hosting the Move for Melanoma Edmonton 5K, taking place on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 10am.. This event will invite participants to run, walk or roll through an inclusive 3K or 5K route with friends, family and community in Whitemud Park, Edmonton, AB. Registration fees include a race kit as well as:

• 3k and 5K run/walk

• Kids’ zone, games & activities

• Post-race refreshments (sponsored by Press’d Sandwiches)

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual stroller, Edmonton’s 5K promises community connection and real impact.
