We appreciate your help...

Since 2006, the Foundation has worked to raise awareness of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers focusing on education, prevention and the need for improved patient care.

Every year Save Your Skin provides thousands of Canadian skin cancer patients with information about drug trials and new treatment options. We also provide emotional and financial support.

The Foundation continually participates in conferences, connects with doctors and researchers, and works with all levels of government to push the eradication of this disease forward.

In 2016, the Foundation also launched the I’m Living Proof initiative to provide hope to patients and support to the new wave of melanoma survivors beginning to emerge due to the success of trial treatments.

100% of all donations we receive through our annual fundraising events Move for Melanoma and A Viking's Challenge go directly to assisting patients meet their everyday needs during treatment in the form of uncovered drug therapy, transportation and accommodation while traveling to receive treatment, child care, lost wages and more.

This Spring/Summer 2025, we are fundraising for our Free, Public Sunscreen Dispenser Initiative.

Since 2022, our dispensers have been providing free, high-quality sunscreen at parks, beaches and underserved communities across Canada. Last year we installed 60 dispensers across 8 provinces.

Skin cancer is preventable, but rates keep rising. Unequal access to protection leaves millions at risk. Our dispensers are changing that, promoting health equity and reducing rising skin cancer rates.

With your support, we can expand to even more locations, ensuring everyone can enjoy the sun safely.

Donate today and make sun protection accessible for all—together, we can save lives!
